TrunderaBot is the verification crawler for Trundera. We maintain a directory of campgrounds and RV parks, and our first duty — to travelers and to park owners alike — is accuracy: every fact we publish about a park is traceable to that park's own website, its booking system, or a government source.

TrunderaBot visits campground websites to verify that parks are open, that our listings link to the right pages, and that details like hookups, rig limits, and seasons match what the park itself publishes.

What it does

Identifies itself honestly: TrunderaBot/1.0 (+https://trundera.com/bot; bot@trundera.com)
Obeys robots.txt (user-agent token TrunderaBot), including Crawl-delay
Fetches a small number of pages per site — typically 5–50 — one request at a time, with multi-second delays between requests
Revisits infrequently: typically monthly or quarterly per site

What it never does

No republication of your content — we quote short excerpts only to substantiate facts (e.g., “50-amp full hookups”), always attributed and linked to your site
No form submission, no account creation, no interaction with your booking flow
No crawling beyond what your own public pages link

Park owners

If anything in our listing for your park is wrong, we want to know even more than you want to tell us. Email parks@trundera.com and a human will fix it with priority.

Add this to your robots.txt — we honor it within 24 hours:
